We decided that because the Zoo was open, that we would introduce Ember to her brothers and sisters...JUST KIDDING! Although, Ember tends to act like an animal ALL OF THE TIME! Ha ha. We had a wonderful time. We bought her new aviator sunglasses and yes she even kept them on. It was a miracle! We saw everything from birds to llamas, camels, penguins, flamingos, and of course...MONKEYS! There was this particular monkey that caught our eyes though, he was so funny! He had this alarm sounding cry. It was so funny and when Ember got up to the window, he thought it would be great to say, "Hi." He got right up in front of her, turned around, and SHIMMIED! It was the best thing that happened all day to her. SHE LOVED IT. It looks like we will be coming back quite regularly.
I often wish that blogging had been around when I first became a parent decades ago. I did write in a journal once in a while but not often enough. I know I've forgotten many stories my children and grandchildren would have enjoyed. I'm so glad you've started a blog. Your daughter will one day thank you, I'm sure. Good luck!
